When we open to the doors of our comfortable Mercedes van, you can be sure you are about to have an unforgettable experience. We will explore the region of Fátima and the West Coast, north of Lisbon, where the weight of history and religion can still be experienced together with unique flavours and traditions.
We will start by visiting the Sanctuary of Fátima, the religious capital of Portugal and one of Catholicism’s most important pilgrimage places. We will then visit the Monastery of Batalha, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and continue to Nazaré, Portugal’s most famous fishing village. Here you will try its renowned fresh caught fish.
After lunch, the next point of interest is another World Heritage site, this time Alcobaça and its Monastery of Santa Maria. Before we return, we will still make one more stop, in Óbidos, a breathtaking walled village which holds the remains of several civilizations and where you must try the famous liquor, the Ginja de Óbidos.
